From f41cc4cd8ddcb47e04170d87ad626a32c0d8ef89 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: silverwind Date: Fri, 23 Oct 2026 01:32:24 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] docs: clarify that the team packages permission covers all org packages (#39953) The Packages row in the team settings read "Manage repository packages.", but packages belong to the owner, so a team's Packages permission applies to every package of the organization, regardless of the team's repositories. Reword it to say so. The docs get the same clarification in https://gitea.com/gitea/docs/pulls/605. --- options/locale/locale_en-US.json | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/options/locale/locale_en-US.json b/options/locale/locale_en-US.json index 513738ae55e..4c8c84286d3 100644 --- a/options/locale/locale_en-US.json +++ b/options/locale/locale_en-US.json @@ -3568,7 +3568,7 @@ "units.error.no_unit_allowed_repo": "You are not allowed to access any section of this repository.", "units.error.unit_not_allowed": "You are not allowed to access this repository section.", "packages.title": "Packages", - "packages.desc": "Manage repository packages.", + "packages.desc": "Access all packages of the organization, regardless of the team's repositories.", "packages.empty": "There are no packages yet.", "packages.no_metadata": "No metadata.", "packages.empty.documentation": "For more information on the package registry, see the documentation.",
